It is the high end technology and marvelous beneficial features that have made this model much popular among the users who are really techno crazy. Getting launched in June 29, 2007, in the U.S., the mobile phone had to satisfy various expectations of the users. The Phone succeeded in keeping up the goodwill of the lineage of Apple with its most sophisticated technological features. The attractive functions carried by iPhones include e-mail, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity. Beside these, it also has functions like text messaging, and visual voice mail. The user with the help of this mobile phone is capable of doing functions like conferencing, call holding, call merging, caller ID, and integration with other cellular network features that makes things more beneficial for the user.
The iPhone from Apple Inc. comes with a function of Visual Voicemail feature that will help the user in viewing a list of current voice mail messages on-screen without making a call into their voice mail. It should be note that this function is simply non existent in most other mobile phones available in the market. The Apple introduced a new ring tone on September 5, 2007, as per which, it is possible for the users to create custom ringtones from their purchased iTunes music for a little additional fee, which is the same to the price of a song. It must be taken care that the ringtones are ranging between 3 to 30 seconds in length of any part of a song, including fading in and out.
Another added advantage of the Apple iPhone is the built in 2.0 megapixel camera which is located on the mobile phone that will help the user in uploading, viewing and e-mailing photos. This camera phone guarantees the user of excellent pictures with perfect quality, which can be stored in the phone. The user can also share the pictures among his friends bringing an element of fun on the handset.
